Minnesota United goalkeeper scores the worst own goal you’re ever likely to see

We’ve all seen some pretty bad own goals over the years, however few even compare to this effort from Minnesota United goalkeeper Sammy Ndjock.

The comedic error came in the first-half of Minnesota’s defeat to AFC Bournemouth, when Ndjock somehow managed to throw the ball into his own net.

Under no pressure, the 26-year-old keeper miraculously launched the ball behind him and into the empty goal. How it happened, we’ll never know.

Callum Wilson scored twice and Lewis Grabban sealed the win as Bournemouth cruised to a 4-0 win over Minnesota. Unsurprisingly, though, the result has been overshadowed by what could be the worst own goal ever seen.

You could hear a pin drop as the 26-year-old retrieves the ball from the back of the net, as the silent crowd attempt to comprehend what they just witnessed.

The cheeky grin on the face of the on looking Jordan Ibe is priceless.
